Alumni Weekend Workshops
In response to numerous requests Performance Edge will be conducting the following workshops in Camden, TN. While these workshops are being held in conjunction with Tactical Response’s Alumni Training Weekend, you DO NOT need to be an Alumni in order to attend them.
Edged Weapons Workshop
"Rule #1: Facing the Blade"
July 9th, 2010
The class will be held at Tactical Response Gear
(behind the shop)
and will begin promptly at 6:00 pm
If you carry a knife as a personal protection tool then this course is designed for you.
In this two hour workshop we will teach you how to best utilize an Edged Weapon for what it is…a Lethal Force Tool. You will also learn the best options available for defending yourself against an Edged Weapons Assault.
We will rely heavily on Alive training (against resistance) with drills to reinforce all of the skills. A deep emphasis will be put on the principle of “Rule Number One: Protect Yourself”.
This workshop will last approximately 2 hours. The pace will be dictated by the participants, as will the breaks. The harder you want to work, the more we will cover.
You will leave this introductory course not only with a solid foundation in Edged Weapons Offense and Defense, but also with an understanding of how to continue training on your own.

Handgun Disarms and Retention Workshop

The class will be held at Tactical Response Gear

This 2 hour workshop will cover the basics of handgun disarms and retention.
We will rely heavily on Alive training (against resistance) with drills to reinforce all of the skills. A deep emphasis will be put on the principle of “Rule Number One: Protect Yourself”.
This workshop will last approximately 2 hours. The pace will be dictated by the participants, as will the breaks. The harder you want to work, the more we will cover.
